Hello everyone. Apologies for not writing a final Basel post or a first Bercy post. I have been writing for my blog for a little over 2 years now and tried my best not to let my non-tennis life get in the way of covering all of Roger’s matches. I think most of you who follow my blog will know how diligent I have been. But right now unfortunately I can no longer avoid the fact that I am going through some things in my personal life that are making it impossible to sit down and write. I am definitely watching Roger’s matches as much as possible, but writing about them is becoming a bit problematic.
So rather than feeling guilty about not being able to write, I am taking a break. I hope this is a temporary situation and I will be back soon, maybe in time to write about the Davis Cup final. I might make random appearances here before that but even if I do, they won’t be regular posts like when I cover a full tournament. Thus it means I will probably not be covering Bercy or even the World Tour Finals.
It pains me to take this break because Roger is doing so well. He just won his 6th Basel title and his 5th title of the year. And if the stars really, truly line-up, he might have a shot at becoming the World #1 though of course I would say Novak has a bigger say than Roger in that. It has been a fantastic year for our champ already, especially when we look back to last year. Even if he closed out the year right now he would have more wins than any other player on tour. He is breaking and setting records with every match he plays and every match he wins. If nothing else I will definitely try my best to do a 2014 concluding post to chronicle some of the highlights.
But now, for the time being, I am signing off. Wishing Roger the best of luck for the next few important weeks. Please vote for him as the Fan Favorite here if you haven’t already, don’t put it off! Keep doing your thing Roger, you are the only bright spot in my life right now. Allez Maestro! ❤

Really appreciate your writing, love every piece of your blog. Will miss you, but Please take your time to sort out whatever is bothering you, always remember to relax and enjoy life. I’m sorry about whatever it is you’re going through. Your writing is amazing and always puts a smile on my face. Through Roger’s matches, your words on twitter continue to inspire me to be a better fan. I hope whatever it is works itself out and you come out better and stronger at the end.
